How does delivery work?
We deliver to your door and set everything up so it's ready to go. We'll agree a delivery time with you in advance. Collection is arranged for after your event — typically the next morning, so there's no rush on the night.
Where do you deliver to?
We cover the whole of Dorset as standard. We can also travel into parts of Somerset, Hampshire and Wiltshire — just ask and we'll let you know if there's a small additional travel charge.
How loud are the PartyBox speakers?
The PartyBox 310 puts out 240 watts — more than enough for a garden party or indoor event up to around 100 people. The 710 is 800 watts and suitable for larger outdoor events. We'll always recommend the right model for your event size when you enquire.
Do I need to provide a power source?
The PartyBox 310 has an 18-hour internal battery, so it can run completely untethered. The 710 needs a mains supply. We'll discuss this with you at booking so there are no surprises on the day.
How do I connect my music to it?
Bluetooth 5.1 is the easiest option — pair your phone or tablet and you're good to go. There's also a 3.5mm aux input and USB port. The speakers also have their own mic and guitar inputs if you're planning speeches or live performances.
What if something goes wrong during my event?
We're on the phone. We'll give you a direct number when you hire and we'll do our best to troubleshoot with you. In the unlikely event of a hardware fault, we'll do everything we can to get a replacement to you.
Is a deposit required?
Yes — we ask for a deposit at the time of booking to secure your date, with the balance due before delivery. Full details are in our hire terms which we'll send over when you enquire.
What happens if I damage the equipment?
We ask for a refundable security deposit at booking. Minor wear and tear is fine — we understand it's a party. Significant damage will be assessed against the deposit. We're reasonable people and will always discuss things with you first.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for summer weekends! Friday and Saturday nights in July and August book up quickly. That said, we do sometimes have last-minute availability — it never hurts to ask.
Can I hire just for a few hours?
Our minimum hire period is one day. Given delivery logistics, it's not practical for us to do a few hours — but a full day hire gives you plenty of time to enjoy your event without rushing.
